Why a podcast about jobs?
We realised that when you grow up through the system there isn't much specific stuff about how to find out about lots of carriers or jobs.
SO
We want to create a resource that young people can pop into youtube or our website and listen to a 15min podcast about different jobs to get a bite size glimpse of different carriers and get some easy next steps if they are interested.
We also think it might be helpful for young people who are picking their GCSE's or A-Levels and or Degrees.

How the podcast works:
You and Me (Sam) jump on a Zoom and chat for 15mins or so about the following questions:
Your Name and tell us a bit about yourself...
The idea is to get a snap shot of what you do and how you got there so young people have a first step of where to go next if they want to pursue a carrier in a same field as you.

- What do you do for a job?
- What does that job entail? (Day to day stuff you do & Best bits, Worst bits)
- How did you get into this job or line of work? Did you do anything else before it?
- What GCSE’s or qualifications did you get or take that helped you get into this line of work?
- If a young person wants to do what you do what’s a first step they can take? Specifically...
- Any other tips?
