‘What Every Volunteer Youth Worker Should Know’

We are pleased to announce that St Mike's Youth and Christ the Rock Church, Yate, will be hosting this nationally-renowned training course in March 2008. The course is designed for busy extra-timers who need to know the basics... and fast!

Each session will be held at the Old School Rooms in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, and will be delivered by Ant Miles and Mark Stuckey. Both Ant and Mark are Oasis-accredited Associate Trainers, and both have many years full-time Christian youth work experience. The course costs £74.99 per person, which includes coffee and lunch each day. Team Members of St Mike's Youth and Christ the Rock Church should speak to their team leader regarding payment.

If you would like to sign up for the course, please contact Ant Miles on 07813 609404 or ant@stmikesyouth.org.

If you're on the team of St Mike's Youth or Christ the Rock, there's an information letter and a response form for you to download (.doc format).

‘What Every Volunteer Youth Worker Should Know’

[the training course for busy 'extra-timers' who need to know the basics - and fast!]

There are approximately 100,000 churches across the UK who work voluntarily with young people in their extra time. These 'extra-timers' exercise great commitment and responsibility - if you are not one of them, you will almost certainly know someone who is!

What Every Volunteer Youth Worker Should Know is designed specifically for these church volunteers. Please visit www.youthwork.co.uk/training/volunteerscourse for further information.
